Super Dads raise more than $23,000

It’s amazing what can be achieved when you want to Make a Difference.

From day one when Brett and Katrina Bugeja joined the ‘MD Family’ they immersed themselves and their family and friends in supporting MDA. In fact our first ChallengeMD Vietnam 2006 saw Brett, Katrina and an army of friends join the historic pedal through Vietnam.

Scroll forward to 2014 and quite a number of fundraising events orchestrated by the Bugeja’s to Super Dads 3 a walk through the suburbs by 100 dads – all supporting MDA.

Brett and Katrina Bugeja would like to congratulate and thank all who participated in this year’s Super Dads 3 Walk. The amazing total amount raised this year was $23,501.

The day was a huge success and a lot of laughs were had by all. The super dads walk was the brains trust of Dean Thorn, Pete Ciardulli, Jamie Oshanassy, Andy Worner and Hayley Compton when they decided over a few beers to try and make a difference and to support research into finding a cure for Muscular Dystrophy. A simple concept of 100 dads walking through the streets of Blackburn walking from house to house sampling food and Beer from 7 different countries.
