Will you help us be there for people living with Muscular Dystrophy by making a donation today?

The Coronavirus crisis has thrown us all, in a time of great worry and uncertainty, I sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are in good health.

At Muscular Dystrophy Australia, we are following government advice and being proactive.  We have put strict measures in place to protect our clients, staff and everybody they come into contact with.

People living with MD and related conditions are particularly at risk in the current Coronavirus crisis.

Our community is at higher risk of respiratory distress and more susceptible to heart complications should they become infected.  People we speak to are, understandably, worried about their health and their ability to access crucial medical and carer supports.

As a charity that exists to care for people across Australia with muscle-wasting conditions, we are urgently reaching out to our clients in their homes and communities and doing all we can to help mitigate the impact of the Coronavirus on their health and well-being.

We are guiding individuals and families through the information available from all health sources and offering support and connections with local services to meet their individual needs.

These new interventions will place a considerable strain on our resources which is why I am turning to you, as a generous and compassionate supporter of Muscular Dystrophy Australia, today.

Please will you help us reach out to even more people living with Muscular Dystrophy and other muscle-wasting conditions through this incredibly difficult period, by giving a generous gift today?

Today, more than ever before, Muscular Dystrophy Australia is working hard to reach out to our community at a time of great worry and concern.  I am determined that we must continue to be there for them over the weeks and months to come, when they may need us more than ever before.

There has never been a more important time to donate to Muscular Dystrophy Australia because people’s lives depend on it.  You are their lifeline. Thank you for standing with us today.

With my thanks and very best wishes.
