“The Home of MDA“ was the first MD web presence established in 1995, is our main method of circulating information . Through The Home of MDA we are able to provide up-to-date, expert information. Currently we have translations available in more than 18 languages, making it easier for the family to discuss the diagnosis of Muscular Dystrophy with the extended family members, often living overseas.
This information can also very important when traveling overseas, when you need to ensure that medical practitioners understand the condition in their native language. We also have disorder specific information written in a way the ‘lay person’ can understand.
Family, teachers, aides, GP’s, allied health professionals or any interested members of the public are encouraged to contact MDA for information and resources.
